The post-processing equipment of the air compressor includes: a Refrigerated Compressed Air Dryer, an Air Tank, and a Pipeline Air Filter. These components work together to remove moisture, stabilize air pressure, and ensure clean, dry, and efficient compressed air output for downstream applications.
Working Principle:
The dryer consists of three main systems: heat exchange, refrigeration, and electrical control. Compressed air first enters the air-to-air or air-to-water pre-cooler, where its heat content is reduced. It then passes through the air-to-air heat exchanger, where it is further cooled. After this, the air enters the evaporator, where the refrigerant reduces the air temperature down to 2–5°C dew point. At this temperature, the moisture in the air condenses into liquid form.
The condensed moisture is then separated and drained off using a separator and a solenoid drain valve. Meanwhile, the now low-temperature dry air passes through the air-to-air heat exchanger again to be slightly reheated before being delivered to the application at the designed outlet temperature.
